  • For Sivøk Applicants:
    • The scholarship covers full tuition fees for each semester, for up to two years, provided the student meets the academic progression requirements.
  • For International Applicants:
    • The scholarship covers full tuition fees for each semester, for up to two years, provided the student meets the academic progression requirements.
    • Additionally, international students receive a stipend to help with living expenses, covering approximately 70% of the total living costs. However, the stipend does not cover all expenses.
  • The scholarships will be given out based on merit.

The BI Presidential Scholarship provides recipients with the following benefits:

  • Full tuition fees coverage
  • Stipend for living expenses for each semester, up to two years, contingent upon meeting academic progression requirements
  • The benefits depend on the student’s nationality whether he is an international student or a Norwegian student.
  •  If you are an international student:
    • You will get the full tuition fee (each semester for two years)
    • You will also get a stipend for living expenses (each semester for two years)
  •  If you are a Norwegian Student:
    • You will only get a full tuition fee waiver (each semester for two years)

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the BI Presidential Scholarships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Required Languages: English
  • Eligible Countries: All world countries
  • Academic Excellence: Candidates must have a GPA of A on the ECTS scale or an equivalent top-level grade on international grade scales.
  • Current Students: Students currently enrolled in BI’s Siviløkonom program can apply in their 3rd year.
  • Program Enrollment: Only candidates admitted to a Master of Science program commencing Autumn 2022 will be considered.

  • International candidates eligible for a regular student loan through the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund can apply for the BI Presidential Scholarship but will not qualify for the living expenses stipend.
  • While applicants can apply for multiple scholarships, only one scholarship will be awarded per student by the BI Presidential Scholarship committee.
  • Priority is not given to candidates who have already earned a master’s degree.
  • To apply for an English test waiver, complete the language waiver application form and upload it with your application.
