IHE Delft Institute for Water Education is offering scholarships for individuals passionate about advancing water sustainability. Eligibility criteria:

Candidates from specific regions, including the Middle East, Horn of Africa, Sahel, and Small Island Development States (SIDS), are eligible. Applicants must:

  • Gain academic admission to the MSc Programme in Water and Sustainable Development.
  • Live and/or work in one of the eligible countries.
  • Conduct MSc research in their home country/region, associated with programme-supported projects.
  • Participate in seminars organized by the learning networks of the programme.
  • Confirm their intent to return to their country of origin or another priority country after completing the program.

Scholarship Benefits:

  • Partial Scholarships:

Application Process:

  • There is no separate application form for the scholarship. Eligible candidates will be automatically considered after applying for admission to the MSc Programme and receiving an academic admission letter.
  • Candidates are encouraged to seek additional scholarships to cover part of the program’s costs.
  • You don’t need to fill out a separate application form for this scholarship. If you’re a national from one of the eligible countries and meet the eligibility criteria, you’ll automatically be considered for the scholarship once you’ve applied for admission and received your academic admission letter. Given the limited budget and number of scholarships available, we recommend also applying for other scholarships that you’re eligible for, including those that cover part of the program costs. If you’re eligible for the Rabbani scholarship, be sure to apply for that as well.
  • If you’re interested in studying at IHE Delft and are from one of the eligible countries, we encourage you to apply for admission as soon as possible. Additionally, make sure to improve your English skills and register for an English language test in a timely manner, as this is a requirement for final admission and scholarship eligibility.
  • Please note, if your English test results are not received by June 1, 2024, you will not be eligible for the scholarship.

  • July 1, 2024: Outcome of scholarship selection.
