Scholarship Coverage:
A Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program encompasses:
- Tuition fees
- Monthly living stipend
- Round-trip airfare
- Health insurance
- Travel allowance
The scholarship duration spans the graduate program or two years, whichever is shorter.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- National of a World Bank member country
- No dual citizenship of any developed country
- No affiliation with World Bank Group staff or close relatives
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of post-degree development-related work experience
- Employed full-time in a development-related position at the time of application
Application Process:
To be considered for a JJ/WBGSP scholarship:
- Apply and secure unconditional acceptance to at least one Participating Program.
- Upload an unconditional letter of acceptance from a participating master’s degree program.
- Submit the scholarship application online during the designated application windows.
